When I inquired about the existing VX2330 for use with air that is currently being used, I was told that it was the same as the VX222A. The catalog states that this product is for use with water. Is it possible to use the VX222A series, which has a brass body, for use with air? Also, is there any difference in the amount of air leakage from a valve with an aluminum body compared to one with a brass body?

A VX222A product that has a brass body can be used for air. The body of the VX2330 was made of brass, so we think that the body materials were matched. A VX222A with a brass body can be used with air without problem. Needless to say, you can also select a VX220A with an aluminum body for use with air. Regarding the air leakage from the valve, the amount of leakage from the VX222A with a brass body is identical to that from the VX220A with an aluminum body.
