Dear users of the serial transmission unit, EX180-SDN3/SDN4/SDN5/SDN6,
Please be informed of the updating of the setup file, EDS.


Usage of the new EDS file (ex180_sdn#_##_v12.eds)

1. The following is the newly added parameter function.
   -Set the Quick Connect (valid / invalid) of the "Quick Connect" SI unit.
   If the Quick Connect is not used, there will be no problem in using the old EDS
   file (ex180_sdn#_##_v11.eds).

2. The product name in the EDS file will be changed from "Valve Manifold SIU" to "SMC EX180-SDN# Valve".
   Depending on the manufacturer's configuration software, even when the EDS file is different,
   the EDS file may be rewritten when the product name is the same.
   If this is the case, please use the new EDS file.
   If you are currently using the old EDS file with no problems, it is fine to continue using the old EDS file.
