Dear users of the serial transmission unit, EX260-SPN#,
We would like to inform you of the handling precautions of the setup file, GSD.

Use of the new GSD file (GSDML-V2.3-SMC-EX260-20160408.xml)
This new file is used for the Si unit(EX260-SPN#) with firmware version 2.1.1 produced
from August 2016 onward.
The new GSD file is required for using the newly added functions (MRP/IRT).
The new GSD file can be used for the product before change.

Use of the old GSD file (GSDML-V2.2-SMC-EX260-20110914.xml)
The old file is used for the SI unit(EX260-SPN#) with firmware version 1.0.0 produced
before July 2016.
The old GSD file can be used for the product after change, but in that case, the new
functions (MRP/IRT) are not available.
